M2 Mac Studio HDMI 2.1 Limitations - How does it compare to the M2 Pro Mac mini?

The M2 Max and Ultra Mac Studio finally comes with HDMI 2.1, bringing it up to par with the M2 Pro Mac mini and MacBook Pros. But does it have the same limitations the other computers do?

I've made several videos previously testing the limits of how well HDMI 2.1 worked on the 14" MacBook Pro and Mac mini with my 48" LG C1 TV that I use as a monitor. I was eager to see if any there were any improvements with the Mac Studio. After all, I didn't have an M2 Max chip to test before.

Good info. My LG C2 started going black every 30 seconds or so and I think it may have been the HDMI cable. Switched to a 2.1 cable and no issues so far. I am curious. When I turn HDR on it seems my ability to adjust the brightness is disabled so I just get a hella bright screen. I'm using a Mac Studio with M2 Max and Sonora. Any help would be appreciated.

I use a LG c2 4k with macmini m2 pro and hdmi 2.1
I have 4k res 120hz with HDR enabled correctly

Altough sometimes (completly casual) The screen turns off and on (rarely)

But most of The time it keeps The correct resolution with hdr on

That hdmi port can output a native resolution (non scaled) 4k 120hz (or pro motion) with hdr enabled?

macbook pro 2019 15" intel based mac and have 2K 144hz through usb c to DP cable, and second screen with FHD 60hz thought both are 34" 2K 144hz also this macbook is running insane hot above 60 to 90 sometimes 100 degrees
