Tony Jeffries shares 3 signs to know which punch your opponent is throwing at you. Being prepared for self defense is very important because we will never know when do we need to fight. 9 out of 10 times in fights they are going to throw a big right hand so you should be prepared for that.

Love how the beanie usually means Street fighting/real life scenarios and no beanie means boxing

I love how even when you're not demonstrating boxing technique you're still moving around in a boxing stance. I was taking notes at the foot placement, seemed super optimal

Once again, thanks Tony for giving us real life practical advice. You are the ONLY boxing coach that does this. The rest of the former boxers and trainers say "Don't Get Into Fistfights" and that's all.

YOU however live in the real world where sometimes one has the fight taken to them and there's NOWHERE to run. I had a guy fight me and I was in an enclosed place. I had to f**king fight or get sent to the emergency room. Thanks Tony! 👍 👍.

Very practical advice! My daughter saw a haymaker from this approach and knocked the boy down by rolling out and hooked his sternum... Never been more proud she actually applied her learning from this channel on top of her traditional training 🙂

This is more important than knowing how to fight. Reality is anyone can get caught with a sucker punch, we’re all human, but if you know how to see the signs and cues coming, you can defend yourself or deescalate the situation. A punch hurts the most when you don’t see it coming. Another important thing is someone’s tone, if they have a low and angry tone, there’s a good chance they’re going to assault you. Don’t let someone get in your personal space - keep your distance and if anyone is in your face, just throw punches or move out of range. Only problem with punches is that you’ll mess up your knuckles if you punch too hard or if you hit them in the wrong place.

Spent 7yrs homeless on the streets of a huge city. Ive been in more fights and seen more fights then most people and i can verify that the right hook to the head is always the first move everyone does. Listen, the stuff this guy teaches may save your life one day

Very good mate. I think another clear sign is when they start to put their hands close to you without touching. Usually this happens to measure distance...

I always have fun with the clockwise roll when they throw the big overhand right followed up with a left hook.

Tony, with these videos now people are going to close their right hand and throw a hook. 😆 thanks brother.
