I reckon he just couldn't find the PC. Around 0:26 it seems like the camera is shifting around more, plus, as soon as the canopy is open, his arms are unzipped. I reckon he couldn't find his PC, so pulled his sleeve cutaways so he could actually reach his PC. Another 2 seconds, and he'd be on the BFL, and we'd be able to read a description of the cause.

Damn, I didn't think a chute could even slow ya down that quick. Thought he'd come down a bit harder openin that bloody low. He must be super light lol
