Prince Osman and Mehmed Had a Fight | Magnificent Century: Kosem "FIGHT FOR THE CONCUBINE"

They're kidnapping Kosem! Ahmed immediately suspects Safiye Sultan and expels her to the Maiden's Tower. Safiye Sultan is making such an offer that Sultan Ahmed is shocked! While Kosem is being held captive, she manages to reach very important information!

The power of Kosem Sultan became the greatest authority of the state through Murad IV, will be shaken by the iron fist of Sultan Murad, who wants to seize power. source says that sehzade mehmed was born 8.3.1605. fourth months afther osman II which disputed mahfiruz as a mother mehmed. who is the mother of sehzade mehmed . definitely kosem sultan. pietro della vale says that kosem was the mother of second born child. george sundys says that woman who was the mother yongest son wasn´t mahfiruz but woman who became haseki - kosem- chioseme.

Although the names of two of Ahmed’s (at least) five daughters, Gevherhan and Ayşe, are known, their exact
birth dates remain unclear.


acording this eu source was ayse sultan born the most propbly as a twin sehzade mehmed.history of palace and simon cortarini says that she was born in 1605 while tezcan found that mehmed, the first born son of kosem, was born 8.3.1605. guhman borekci also found that record about ayse sultan (according to pietro dela valle second born daughter ahmed I) it comes from 14.3.1605 which disputed her birth in november 1605. source says that ayse and mehmed were twins. because according to pietro della valle both were discribed as second born child. mehmed as second born son b.8.3.1605 and ayse second born daughter about whom the record comes in 14.3.1605

Ps: if ayse sultan was born 8.3.1605 according to pietro della valle as a yong(second born daughter) gevherhan must to have born infront of ayse (guhman borekci also says that gevherhan was the first daugter of ahmed I from kosem) borekci also said that the born daughter of ahmed was named gevherhan january 1604 and what is interesting is. that simon cortarini said two daughters were married 7 and 9. we now that 7 was ayse. 9 must be gevherhan . cortarini says that gevherhan was about two years leder than ayse. sakaoglu says that gevherhan was married 1612, which mean that she was born 1603. it is possible. there exest story who says that ahmed I as a sehzade sadduced yong concubine named mahpeyker durring the reign mehmed III.

leslie peirci in imperial harem mention that mehmed was born one and half year afther osman which is year 1606. but there must be some mystake. tezcan found that betwen dead handan sultan and dervis pasha started kosem 500 akce. which cannot be coincident. leslie perci mention born another son year and half afther osman 1606. which is reason why kosem started get 500 akce. tezcan found excat numbers of dates. 24.5.1606 which is one and half year. which mean that kosem´s second born son was born 24.5.1606 the most propably with another daughter fatma sultan b.1606.

while source says that kosem born in 24.5.1606 another twin unnamed sehzade and his sister twin fatma source mention death mahfiruz in 1606 or much early 1605.

tezcn found interesting note from achile de harley from year- 1614-15 he wrote this afther executednasuh pash send 1616 and read 1618 says that kosem is the mother of osman 10 years and that osman was orphan. when we let's count 1614/15-10= it is year 1605/1606

mahfiruz died august 1605 afther dificult birth of her second born son, who died soon afther his birth.valide handan sultan died november 1605 throught istanbul began to spread gossip that both these woman were poisoned by kosem to became highest(valide since 1605) .
