C standard sounds... better! :o I tried D standard, but C is much much nicer!!!! Must be because it is a third from E standard!

i'm 48, and i've always like the heavier sound, like sabbath, venom, and the such, so i like the low tuning, i like both ways, try celtic frost tuned low, it's cool, i have a standard a440, and various other tunings on my guitars, but i always play the c tuned guitars if i'm not jammin along with a recorded song

Lol your mannerisms definitely reveal your preferece here.. I've been playing in standard C for years- its a better sound, and easier on my grunge-esk styled vocals. Made the switch shortly after my first band project ended some years back. I wanted to stop sounding like Cobain & more like Lanegan, Cornell, & Staley.. (but also didn't want to throw my voice out after two songs)

in fact those are the same intervals, just with a different caracter... for me drop tunings are never better that standard tunnings, in fact it´s much harder to write a good heavy/melodic sounding riff in stadard... I like better the Eb standard tunings as much as E standard. Nevertheless D standard is also a good tonning to play with, on the other hand C standard would only be for metal, other than that... I´m not seeing me playing in C standard. By the way Great video!! 🤜🤛
