This short Tassomai tutorial video explains the form of William Shakespeare's The Tempest.

3 key facts to remember about the form of The Tempest:

1- Blank verse is a poetic form made up of unrhymed lines of iambic pentameter.

2- Iambic pentameter uses one unstressed syllable followed by a stressed
syllable, with a total of 10 syllables per line.

3- The higher class characters in the play use blank verse whilst the lower class characters normally use prose.
