That is so good that you are having those courses for women and teaching them how to be more independent and able to survive in the wilderness if they have to.

Hi Brooke, love your video's, I have decided to teach my grandchildren survival skills if they get lost in the woods. After watching yours . They are 4 years old to 14. They might not need this now, but they will always have it when they get older. Actually it is my great-grandchildren. My daughter and I usually do what we call grandma camp every summer, teaching the kids different things about the outdoors. I think it will be fun.

Hi Brooke .. looks like a lot of fun was had by all 😊. It's good to have courses just for the Girls .. enables them to relax and let their hair down 👍. The snow here in Rheinfelden, Switzerland all gone .. 😥 .. I just love snow.
All success for your events in 2019 and am looking forward to any Postings thereon 👍.
Take care .. Tommy

April. Cold and grey today in Oregon. Rain showers. Supposed to be 80 degrees Thursday. Brooke. I live in the woods and have been a life long woodsman. Good video. One little thing. I learned that while smoking fish, do not have leaves, or bark while smoking. It gives the meat a bitter flavor.

I've found that if you scrape. The inside of the birch bark you get better dust to start your fires with . The outside I find there is to much moisture being exposed to the climate . But I know you have done it a thousand times . And have luck with either side . Just thought you might want to try inside bark to see results .
