Gran Turismo 7 - World Touring Car 800 - Monza Race & Strategy Guide

Welcome to my guide to winning the World Touring Car 800 Race around Monza on Gran Turismo 7.

Car Used for this race: Ferrari 458 Italia GT3

Things I bought for this car from the Tuning Shop:
Medium-RPM Turbocharger

Things I changed in the Tuning Menu:
Make sure the Medium-RPM Turbocharger is selected.

The Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 is a very stable car in the corners, decent straight line speed and is very good at saving fuel.

The strategy for this race is very straight forward.
At the start of the race, set the fuel to level 3-4 and pretty much keep it there the entire race, you will need to make 1 Pit Stop for fuel around lap 5-6. You will most likely need to fill up to 100% to make sure you have enough fuel to get to the end of the race, if you find yourself close on fuel increase the fuel level to 5 or even 6 for the last few laps, you should be far enough ahead that it shouldn’t matter.

I set the Traction Control to level 2 but that’s my personal preference, you can choose any level that feels comfortable for your driving style but if you have it set too high it will make you slower so try to get used to using a lower traction control setting.
In Heavy Wet conditions you might want to increase the Traction Control to make sure the car is more stable through the corners but that’s up to you.

The difficulty of the AI for this race was set to Intermediate so I am not sure whether the strategy will work for the harder difficulty but if it doesn’t let me know in the comments below and I will do my best to give you some advice.
