I grew my beard out for me not for women! Don't even waste time listening to this guys shit it will just make you more insecure. Go to the gym, get your shit together and focus on you. This actually does work. I don't have a great chin. So I trim my sides down with a 5mm and I use a 9.5mm for my mustach and keep my beard a little long it makes my chin look longer then it really is.

A lot of men do not have a big chin but a small chin or even a double chin genetically, so a stubble will not have any affect or benefit to their attractiveness, a short boxed beard or triming the sides and leaving hair on the chin is better for many men

My beard is pretty thick, but not long. I usually just fade the sides a bit and keep the bottom at a reasonable length. Most women tend to really like it.
