What are clockwise & anti-clockwise?

The turn which is according to clock hands' turn is called clockwise.
The turn which is opposite to clock hands' is called anti-clockwise.

Clockwise means direction moving in ascending order 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 .
Anti clock wise means direction moving in descending order 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
