I hear a lot of people saying stuff about how long Deltarune takes to make, but you have to understand that Toby is doing other things as well. In just the last 3 years he composed music for YIIK, Dweller's Empty Path, Pokémon Sword and Shield, he organized that whole symphony orchestra concert thing with a whole live presentation, he ported Undertale to the Switch and other consoles with (some) new content, he got Sans in Smash, he even put together that whole Chapter 2 reveal stream with bits and tons of extra details. He even dropped Chapter 2 both early and for free.

Toby works hard, and he gives us more than we can ask for. The least we can do is appreciate all that.

Chapter 2's ending simultaneously makes me feel both fearful and excited; it's genuinely a pretty damn unnerving ending, but at the same time, it's a really great cliffhanger, and I can see it bringing a lot of interest and hype into DeltaRune

This is a much more different take on Don't Forget, but I think it's pretty good, I like the unique vibe it has

This song is oddly emotional. I feel like the music stopping and starting correlates to how the game "starts" and "stops" and by that I mean how the game releases in chapters many years apart, when a new chapter comes out its in "start" and after a while its in "stop". We've waited so long, and still got a great chapter, but damn if I dont want more. Its gonna hurt to see the game's popularity die down over the next few years until Chapter 3 comes out, but we'll be ready when it releases.

This chapter did one more thing that not many people point out:
This is the first time that the most important substance in the franchise is specifically referred to:
*Determination.*
It's revealed to be a key ingredient in the creation of dark fountains, but clearly not too much is needed, as Berdly was apparently about to create one at the end of the regular route. It was shown to take effort, though, hence why Ralsei was able to nip it mid-charging and why Kris can make one practically instantly.
But here's the million-kromer question:
Could Frisk open a dark fountain?

I just love how the track sort of 'baits' you into thinking the game is glitching and repeating audio, only to break into a chill remix of Don't Forget. As if to say "Things are looking bleak, but this isn't the end."

Am i the only one who expected another line for the song "Don't Forget" at the end credits? Like a recurring motive, for each chapter comes an additional line to that song?

I had a sinking feeling in my gut the moment that Queen mentioned that the dark fountains were created by Determination. By the end, that sinking feeling was more correct than I could have imagined. So excited to see where this story goes next.

This is actually one of those songs where I can't quite put my finger on it why it makes me THAT melancholic.
Love the glitching, feels like a song that's trying its hardest to continue but never truly succeeds.
