everyone knows youtube views are where the big bucks are (in the long term for a hit song). to sign away your life to distrokid for 20% plus the channel they make for you that garnishes views and you arent paid at all from that, sounds pretty sketch. TONS of people just go to youtube to hear your songs for free and will deal with ads if they pop up. they wont go onto streaming services anyway to listen to your songs. those are bot views paid views by view bots in remote areas. real views come from youtube and the metrics they record proves it. does anyone know of any other methods to get your songs distributed and you can maintain all your rights and royalties? while having your own youtube channel with the songs as videos?

My song was uploaded and not even to a topic channel ( I had released music before under tune core and had a topic channel - but I stopped their services) my music through Distrokid was uploaded to a “various artist - topic page! How do I get that fixed ?

Nice video! But I have a a question do you still check mark the tik tok and instagram box even though you post it by your self on your own account? Or they create another account?? How does it work

My YouTube channel and the one distrokid made for me are connected. I upload a video lirycs of one of the songs, and youtube replace my original song with the original cover for this new one. How can i recover that video. Now that video its only on youtube music topics but not on my album 😢

If you Don't have artist profile on YouTube, you cant upload song. So it gonna create topic Chanel
