The main concern I have is that I don't have a big audience, I don't have fans that will stream/buy my music that will guarantee profit from the $20/year subscription. And it's also quite crazy when you think that you will kind of be paying $20 for the rest of your life, because they remove it after you stop paying. For small producers like me, who want to get their music out on platforms, is it ideal for services such as DistroKid or is it better to for example sign with a small label that distributes for free but takes 50% of revenue and also provides more exposure (for example their YouTube channel that has a bigger audience than yours) ?

I understand that you as Miavono have this channel which earns you dedicated fans and some revenue that all covers the price of Distrokid, but there are many producers like me who don't have this big audience and a certain way of making profit of Distrokid, and if we start using Distrokid, it's practically $20 every year for the rest of your music career. Please share your thoughts on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
