I think another good point for him is he's also kinda limiting Sherlocks, as reducing his health pool makes it considerably more easy to kill, I think he is gonna be very good against a certain type of opponents as you suggested, and I expect him to basically impact the meta without beeing played much, people won't run anymore 3 Rogans, actually probably none will run more than 1 Rogan at least in CCL, knowing most people will have Phorcys ready to decimate their teams, and he will defiinetly impact how good upcoming heroes will be in PvP if they have buffs.
Another interesting idea is, what if you run 2 Phorcys? You reduce 40% of the whole enemy team in just 2 rounds, reading 10% doesn't seem huge, but the fact that this passive hits the whole enemy team may actually be the deal breaker. He's probably gonna
synergize very well with AoEs, so Halora / Tix are gonna be good candidates.

A potential, extreme lineup, for damage mitigation I foresee would consist of 1-2 Phorcys for his Dark coil (25% all damage mitigation), 2 Elyvia to spread her Shrink more consistently (50% all damage reduction), 1 Flora as the lowest HP to spread her damage reduction (30%), and either 1 Tix for early attack swaps which would be super extreme, or an Amen Ra for that low round survivability. You could quite possibly reduce the damage output of the enemy down to nothing (-105% damage dealt total) extremely quick if all the debuffs lineup accordingly. That’s not even taking Void imprints into consideration which would be even more devastating. These abilities should all line up to form a super sustain team that deals damage over time with plenty of CC. GDP you should try that out!

Phorcys appears to be that damage control hero, like you said, calming the ridiculous amount of burst damage done by say Void Xia and even Russell. If he was released before the Void hero drops, the meta wouldn’t be nearly as saturated with them. Tara will become more relevant since these passives will be very influential, although purify may severely limit Phorcys. Overall, I can see Phorcys and Elyvia with any sort of CC/sustain variability being great. I do wonder how he’ll work with Flora. Looking forward to seeing the testing.

You forgot but the 2500% is per attribute so he can do up to 9000% of attack with the active and it will be 4 instances of damage the active and each decay

Hey! @Geedeepee Can you explain better your thought about the skill damage in his kit? How does it effect him? It does affect only "imminent doom" active skill? or does it affect "curse of decay" proc too? You didn't seems convinced about that but i didn't understand how that stat affect his active skill. Since this hero depends a lot from casting his active i thought skill dmg would have been great on him! I'd love some clarification from you, keep up the good work <3

Gdp, i have a question... I just started an account, low spender, and i wonder if i should focus on drake or russel (i have a 6 star garuda, gonna be my first e5). I have 70 feathers and a l/d chest selection. What do you think? Going on pve or pvp?
