This is the history of Microsoft Windows from Windows 1.0 (1985) to Windows 10 (2015). This video doesn't include the Windows Server versions.

I'd love for a Youtube channel to make an entire playlist covering the evolution of Windows, with each version of Windows getting it's own entire video. All I can find on Youtube of Windows evolution is videos like this, that just show short, fast demonstrations of each version of Windows in one single video. I want some really in-depth stuff.

In my opinion, Windows XP was the most successful. I had it since I was 12 and grew up with it the longest. It broke when I was 25. My older brother had Vista and when that broke, he bought a Windows 7 laptop.

My first was Windows 95. THE MEMORIES. Wow. The freaking memories.. We had that thing all the way into 2006 or something. It was mostly mine because I used it the most, but of course it was mom who owned it. The next one we got was Windows XP, on an HP computer.
