Apparently she was too cheap to buy birth control too.

That’s just embarrassing, why pop out ten kids when you wanna treat them this way and don’t wanna spend money

I really hope their kids don't get bullied at school for this, especially the daughter who wanted new clothes. Being a teenager is such a pressuring time.

This is abusive. Not properly feeding your family, not buying enough clothing for what? Saving money rather than correctly loving your children?! Every person you see that runs through this show is borderline selfish. I pray anyone that is connected to these people does not grow feeling unloved, and ultimately finds peace.

these people are always so weird because they arent even saving for anything they just love the satisfaction of saying they save. Picking up roadkill and saying a $2 tee shirt is too much is absolutely ridiculous and sick.

I'm blessed to have a family who know how to save but still know how to spend when needed

This woman is a nut. I'm all for saving money but this is crazy. I feel so bad for the kids. If you can't afford these kids, stop having them!

That oldest boy broke my heart as well as the 13 year old girl. You could tell he was so embarrassed and the girl was hurt not having nicer things like her friends. It’s pitiful. 😢

Poor kids. The 14 year old in the toddler dress is really to pity.

everything about this made me upset.
When the mom said "I feel so good when I save money, ".
I BET YOUR KID FEELS GREAT ABOUT IT TOO, can't even spend $10 of what the daughter wanted.
Don't even get me started on the roadkill.

I get the money saving thing totally, but not being able to cash out 10 dollars for your children's clothes is borderline emotional abuse and child neglect. Guys can handle only having 7 shirts and 7 pairs of shorts for the week, but girls have it worse than us because everyone in their peer group is a style critic.

I feel bad for these kids imagine your parents not wanting to buy you 10 dollars worth of clothes that's just sad.

“I feel so good when I save money.” Yes, we know this is all about you, lady. If you actually thought about your kids, you’d see quite a bit more.

My single mother had to take us to thrift stores. My brother and I were pretty understanding. Never complained bc we knew she didn’t have much. Then whn I turned 15, I got my first fast food restaurant job . And I then paid for my own stuff and gave mom money to buy groceries etc. I helped as much as I could. My mother reminds me how much I helped her.
But this is absolutely ridiculous
