Path of Exile 2 Mercenary Build

Our Path of Exile 2 Mercenary Build has a high likelihood of instantly deleting bosses. This is done by using the Witchhunter Mercenary Ascendancy and using status ailments to control the battlefield. This is a Starter build to help you get through the beginning acts of Path of Exile 2.

I just use the electric auto shotgun for mobs and it deletes them, then the 2 additional projectiles for the basic attack which surprisingly deletes bosses.

The Mercenary works more like a grenadier than a shooter. Grenades are extremely strong and I don’t like that crossbows only compliment grenades as opposed to the other way around. Great video Destiny

One thing not mentioned. Rapid-fire overheating empowers explosive grenades and triggers them immediately.

Went down to Grenadier passive perk that gives another shot out grenade, goes great with scatter for a 4th bomb.

Flash->Explode->Gas grenades just melts rooms of mobs, fragmentation rounds to finish off.

The Crossbow you get for an additional bolt along with Double Barrel is great in Act 2 for that Shotgun playstyle 😅

explosive shot build is good but it has low damage in single target on bosses

What are your thoughts on using rapid shot? I've been using it to good effect.

Switching ammo is sooo slow. The animation gets locked in place and you don't shoot at all. I hope they fix it.

I just got a Unique helmet that ignites everything that comes into my range, how can I make this effective???
