Bought a Q2200 in July after watching some of your videos. I LOVE this grill. Family of four plus two 3 year olds and this baby keeps us fed during covid. Very even heat, easy to clean, and runs forever on a tank of propane.I love your channel and my new grill!! Keep on!

Fire Escape Griller We take ours camping all the time and it's fantastic. We just use the adapter hose and hook it up straight to the camper propane tank, no more waiting for coals to be ready!

Also instead of the griddle we just stick a small iron skillet on the grill and still allows me to close the lid.

Just ordered our first grill yesterday as first time home owners; a Weber Q1200 with all its trimmings — including the griddle! SO EXCITED to start GRILLING!

1:52 who the fuck cooks bacon with butter and then complain about being greasy..? I've owned this grill for about 3 yrs and have had no issue with grease.

Any tips for cleaning this griddle? The burn off method works great for the bars but wasn't sure what's best for the griddle?

Thanks for a great review! Probably the best info I have seen, Only thing I might add is about seasoning the griddle. Thanks again!

Great video! Does anyone know if this is ok in the dishwasher?

It is porcelain enamel coated cast iron after all. So in theory the cast iron is not exposed to become rusty.

Ive cook asparagus and onions and peppers on the griddle with a little vegetable oil. I use the gas grill for an extra cooking surface to my Weber kettle

Thank you FEG!
I think that we can move the greasy on the 2 holes, it's a good idea?

Is there anyway to hookup a little drip tray or pan underneath the griddle holes ? Just a thought, I have drip pans for my Weber Go Anywhere Gas Grill, I have Craycort Cast Iron Grates and a Griddle on it too . I just purchased a Weber Q1200 and I’m getting all the bells and whistles for it ! Thank you for the videos and all the time you spent putting them together and giving us all the information !

If you buy 2 griddles can you flip one so that the whole grill becomes a griddle? Or are the 2 sides different so you can only use the one side? Thanks.

Just got my griddle a week ago was inspired to get one from watching your videos. I have a tip about the grease I blot some off with a paper towel using grilling tounges helps alot. Also I'm in New Jersey so we're kinda like weber q neighbors lol hope you don't find that weird. Look forward to more videos keep on grilling.

Just got mine and very very very VERY hard to believe it is "porcelain coated". The grills are a very smooth shiny black and smooth to the touch, even looking
at the few smooth spots, they even look smooth to they eye. This weber 6558 griddle is very dull and rough to the touch and even looks rough very close up with magnifying glass. When wiping with cloth or paper towel, it grabs fibers and they stick to it.
Did I get a bad one you think? Is everyone else's like that? How could the "porcelain" be so much different from the beautiful grates??
Partly asking your opinion, partly venting obviously. :)

If the griddle runs hot, do you preheat it at a lower temperature? Does it make a difference if you place the griddle on top of the grate instead of replacing the grate with the griddle? My griddle just came in the mail today. At the moment I’m waiting for it to cool down from being seasoned in the oven.
