That is not the sound from the mics/overheads correct? It sounds like the audio is direct from the camera. Which is odd since everything is miked up

Are these cymbals louder than the A Customs?

All well, except for the Ride, inaudible! I have a 20” Paiste 2002 Power Ride* that would eat it alive. I also have a polyvalent 22” Paiste 2002 Crash** that I use as ‘deep ride’ and mallet crescendos. Great sound, incredible bell! I combine with a Zildjian 18” Light China*** with toilet chain, a 18” Meinl Candela****, also with toilet chain, an inversed 18” Paiste 2002 Ride** with rivets, a 11” Paiste 2002 Splash **, and a gorgeous 13” Meinl Byzance Hi-hat***, although I miss my old 14” Paiste 2002 Soundedge Hihat** that I had to sell in a time of need.

*Bought direct in Paiste Switzerland, where they also refurbished and signed my old Paistes, adding a cymbal bag, several t-shirts, Kártals, and mini-drumsticks key-holders.
**Bought with my first drumset (Rogers grey mother of pearl) back in 1972.

I think the Custom hybrid has the most presentability I don't like the China though, ..it sounds like tin can that is being kicked around.

It's just too clinical for me. It's like you've said "play a rock beat, alternate between crashes" etc rather than simply "play!"

to be honest this china sounds quite weird...but 19" one has a more oriental also all about the sizes.each size has their own unique sound.i'd take the 14.25 hihats, 17 crash, 16 crash, 19 china, 9 splash, 15 trash crash and 19 trash smash.hat setup would be enough for me.
