Been looking for this beautiful soundtrack for ages! One of my favourite of all time. If more people watched documentaries then more people would know of this gorgeous music. Thank you so much for posting it! The track "The Spirit Returns" is probably one of my favourite compositions of all time, that oboe and bagpipe combo is just so magical!

I love the way the opening music seamlessly changes the instrumentation to match the introductions of the main climbers. From the South-Central Asian woodwinds, sitars, and percussion that accompany Jamling Norgay’s intro, to electric and slide guitars for the Americans Ed and Paula Viesturs, to flamenco guitars and cabasas for the Spaniard Araceli Segarra.
