Yo scott, I used to be a cabinet maker and worked with a lot of laminated sheets, we used to sand the laminated part with 100 grid to make it a bit rough, u can use masking tape to make sure you don’t sand the part that will be seen. after that u can use regular wood glue no problem.

Well done Scott. May I suggest something? Next time you are going to build cabinets try to use hinges with integrated brakes. I use to be a cabinet maker and I always enjoyed the smile on my clients faces when they were seeing how smooth the doors were closing.

Great work. But you should check out a Festool domino or Lamello jointer. It will change The way you can put things together. And make it so much easier. I love the way you think outside the box. Keep it up. I’m learning from you how to some innovative stuff.

Jess did a brilliant job on your hair. I give you a lot of credit for taking on a cabinet making project. The end result was just fantastic. Cabinet making is far too fiddly and requires more precision than I'm willing to attempt. Good on you.

You did a great job. I’ve been doing cabinets for 17 years. A helpful hint with that tow kick is to snip off the little plastic bit on the clip so they’re a flat surface. Then silicone the kick to those clips so they’re still removable and you don’t have to silicone them to the floor or use screws.
