Fun fact about the movie "Scary Stories to tell in the dark":

All of the main monsters, the pale lady included, were all created using practical effects! NOT CGI! This means the actors playing these monsters are in full latex costumes.

The only CGI used on these monsters is the jangly man's face ( the contortionist playing him wore a mask on the back if his head to give off a more disturbing effect) and the missing toe on the ghoul, which was removed via green screen.

Scary Stories to tell in the dark is one of my favorite movies and books and I'm so glad you sculpted the Pale Lady! A truly TERRIFYING sculpture!

If you are wanting to create something different, some dioramas for your sculptures to help tell their stories would so awesome, especially all of your own creations 🤩

I love this character (definitely didn’t have to leave the movie theatre when i was 12 because i was scared) p.s pls make a creature from the movie “the ritual”

Monster diorama sounds cool. Maybe one like a sea monster and use resin as water. Resin water is always gorgeous

As for direction or input on where to go from here, I recommend you explore many options and share your experiences. The process of discovery is a journey not only worth taking, but sharing as well. Part of what makes the YouTube community great is that perfection is not always required to make the content fun and engaging.

Amazing! Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark were among my favorite books as a kid!

I would love to see some horror dioramas to go with your characters! Spooky forests or a murder cabin maybe?

Amazing job as always and very educational!

Some ideas:
+More thrift shop make overs like when you first started, maybe throw in a funko pop redesign in there.
+resin diorama with monster sculpture
+youtuber collaborations-you each sculpt each other's drawing or follow specific criteria like in a previous video
+sculpt user drawing submissions
+sculptures interacting with each other so it tells a story, funko kind of does this in a simplistic way
+busts of character at a larger scale

Ideas:
1. Mashup characters e.g. Dali and a lobster, Edgar Allen Poe and a raven
2. A full on bust of a character (like the ones in old country houses, but spooky)
3. Bat like character e.g. tube nose bat or flying foxes
4. Diorama to be used with some of
your original characters
5. Pyrography
6. Resin pour
7. Sculpting the opposite of what you usually do... You usually sculpt by adding, what would happen if you started with a block and cut stuff away to make the shape. You could do this with wood or clay or lots of items.
8. Sculptures including other objects. E.g. cutlery

I used to have that book as a child. It was wonderful for sleep overs and campfires. Talk about a major blast from my past. Now I really feel old lol.
Great job on her. She is unique and you captured that very well.

I loved those books as a kid, the one that really scared me the most was Harold. You should sculpt him next! Maybe use real straw sticking out?

There are 3 volumes in the set of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. As a school librarian I couldn't keep them on the shelves. I also had to purchase new copies consistently due do use and theft. Alvin Schwartz knew exactly how to hook kids into reading. They are spine tingling fun. Great sculpt Anthony.

The pale lady is really one of the most weirdest and intimidating creatures in the film I don’t even want to hug that thing especially when I heard her laughing and mumbling

My kids loved that book! She's great. I like the polymer clay because it is something I can easily order in. But if you want to spread your artist's wings then go for it. When you do a project you aren't really into it shows, not in your work but in your demeanor. That's what is important, do what you love. As you kids say now, "You do you."
