January 23, 1990 Our Unknown Eater went to Lemon Grove to find out what all the excitement was about. The first In-N-Out Burger in San Diego County was opened and packed--as it has always been. It's hard to imagine San Diego without In-N-Out nowadays.

Man, the nostalgia is overwhelming. Beautiful times, if only there was a time machine.

Lets appreciate the fact that In N Out has kept honest prices for great food for a really long time.

0:33 "I tell you, everybody's been fantastic. There's no fear. It's just the happiness." I don't mean to toot my own horn, but as someone born in 1992, this really.. hits deep. As much as I'm coming to terms with my inner child having been dead for decades, detachment from burned bridges that were misguiding me to nowhere for too long, and reflection and forward motion through it all--I want to believe in just this statement, once more, even if this man from the past was speaking only about burgers.

social media and cellphones messed us up man... it made us all believe were legends in our own minds and we cant get down to the level of our fellow humans anymore. These times of the past are long gone.

My son was actually buried with an In 'n' Out burger. True story. We have never had one and Tanner always wanted to try.😀🖖 So my sister brought one from LA when we laid him to rest. Much love to all 🙏❤🇨🇦🇺🇸

The great thing is it still looks the same. Most fast food places when they get bigger cheap out but the quality at in and out is still great

I lived down the street from the original one in Baldwin Park Ca. Miss those days.

I think it's quite wild to see the people wearing 80s and 90s styles. The cars being from the same are then you fast forward 3 decades and you still see the same lines in the drive thru and packed dinner rooms today and maybe is not too wild to imagine 3 more decades into the future and STILL you'll see the same picture. That's In n Out in its purest form
