The Creator of Paisa App is a classmate of mine. Nice to see his work being featured. :)

We need more FOSS apps, no tracking, no shady data collection, no unexpected IAPs... just make sure to donate to the projects you find useful!

Here are some of my favourites:

Infinity for Reddit - lightweight Reddit client
Organic Maps - Offline GPS maps with navigation based on OSM
NewPipe - Lightweight YT client with a ton of features
Open Camera - Hands down the best camera app for manual control and tinkering
Grocy - Self hosted home ERP (stock manager, shopping list, organization, etc)
Element - Clean and modern Matrix client
AntennaPod - Podcast client with a really nice UI and lots of features

As one of the free and open source apps, I can confirm I am the best, and Sam is right.

Heey, don't know if this will ever get to you, but I'm really enjoying your content. It's amazing to see someone who's enthusiastic and a technophile for both IOS and android + creating apps/and homescreen setups for all of us. Big fan of you man and always wish you the best of luck.

Worth considering that if users of open source apps paid for them they would have more and better open source apps. They are free as in free to see the source code and free for anyone skilled to customize, but they costs to develop and keep up to date in an ever evolving tech landscape.

As far as Nearby Sharing considered there are Warp/Wormhole apps that allow you to share files and folders between Windows, Linux and Android devices in both directions.

Raise to answer or face down to hang up was a feature in my Samsung s3 mini all the way back in 2012. Its genuinely useful.

Vivo used to have the feature of "Raise to Answer" back in the Android 5 days. idk if its still there in the newer ROMs but i do miss it cuz i used it a lot

I'm keeping my GrapheneOS phone lean and mean and mostly use the provided apps. I added a few that I need to check in on my 91 year old Mom who has dementia, GPS track my motorcycle if it's stolen, etc. These only get privileges when running and GrapheneOS doesn't auto start them at reboot. One open source app I use is OSMand - the Open Street Maps offline GPS navigator.

Great video, many thanks. By the way, on the repository page of SEAL, a lot of users are reporting issue, bringing it to not properly work.
