Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) defense former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz: "There's some irony to a non-coffee drinking Mormon conservative defending a Democrat candidate for president in perhaps one of the most liberal companies in America. It’s somewhat rich that you’re being grilled by people who have never had the opportunity to create a single job. And yet they believe that they know better how to do so."

Mitch Romney is not a self made millionaire

I think it's "rich" that a hundred millionaire defended a billionaire.

anti-union people (and yes, those who say that unions "still have a right to unionize" are all anti-union) always try to say non-union companies pay better.

They don't. In every circumstance.

Mitt is extremely ignorant.

Of course a hedge fund guy like Romney would defend him

If workers were so well taken care of why are they trying to unionize across the country ?

What Romney doesn’t address is the fact that Starbucks has been illegally interfering with the unionization process. You can argue the merits of that process when that’s the topic at hand.

Funny Senator Romney did not stay to ask a question to the panel, which included two Starbucks Workers United, which he probably did worthy of his time.
Those in power will protect those they need to protect.

I'm sorry did he just say that its rich that there is a conflict of interest because Unions support Democrats and therefore the push for unions? Wouldn't it then apply a conflict of interest with Corporations being supported by Republicans because they benefit from them. Why was this even stated?

How much is Schulz contributing to the non-coffee drinking Mormon's campaign chest?

🤣 @ the idea of StarBucks management being "liberal". They are hardcore anti-tax, anti-regulation.

1:56 that is the whole issue. Because of how Starbucks made its policy non-union stores are slightly better, which discourages unionization. And in doing so Starbucks is guilty of union discrimination.

Proving once again, he is just as much of a sellout as every other Republican.

BS this isn't partisan politic, it's CLASS politics. Working Class VS. Ruling Class

Romney should be a Barista for one day. What a disgrace..

I dont understand how regulators have the ability to tell already successful business people how their company should be run. If anything they should be asking him how to run the government businesses better. Not one person has a positive experience going to the DMV nor post office nor courthouse nor airports, etc.

When is Romney up for reelection?
Because that's when his political career ends.

If corporations are people as Romney says, you should be able to put a corporation in jail. I'm looking at you Wells Fargo.
