STP is awesome (i love stp, seen them at least 6 times, have all their music, 30+ live shows, listen to them every day), but VR is just better. Check Scott's stage appeal and their performance when he is playing with VR, not even his energy then, but his vocals. They really helped him clean up at times and his vocals and energy on stage is unbeatable.

@Puffer1986 This place is probably a 30 minute drive from his house/studio, which is also why using the plaintop les paul, which he recently stopped using, and those two amps you see are his jcm 800 #34 amp, which he rarely uses live, and a marshall DSL i THINK for cleans.

That was a rumor made by Scott. Slash denied all of that. Even the band stated that they hadn't started working on anything with Weiland again. They said they didn't mind the idea, but just haven't actually done a thing with him since the Libertad tour. Believe me, I heard about that months ago. It was all publicity. Nothing more. Plus, STP is going on the Core Anniversary tour, do Scott will be a little too busy for VR. :)

There is no VR "reunion" in that sense. This was done only as a one-off tribute for O' Brien. Scott and STP have Core 20th anniversary plans for this year.
