I was very young when Deans show was on (born in 66), but I have some memories watching it with my family. Wish I could go back to those days.

Dean Martin was a very complex man off camera, but he always appeared to be very simple.

You can tell by that brutal edit early in the initial monolog at 0:57 that this was one of the shows that they had to scrub all the Jeanne jokes out since it was announced they were divorcing...
So Dean came back to the studio and in one marathon session they recorded new jokes to fill and edit those into the shows with the Jeanne jokes....
