That was an exciting hunt! The trajectory of the first throws fascinated me. One appeared to travel high above the rabbit and then return right in on top of him. To harness this power and control is quite commendable. Nice work !

During WWII, my older friend was in the US Army, stationed in Australia. He brought back a boomerang that looks like the ones you made. He told me it was for hunting, and that it isn't designed to come back, so we made some "X" shaped 'rangs, and I eventually got to throwing around a tree and catching it.
I have his Australian 'rang hanging on the wall, and to me it's a beautiful piece of art.
