Hey thank you for the videos and really admire the maturity of the yo ma’am. Something we take for granted and the younger generation that we shouldn’t.

I am impressed with the window & skid plate repair. It is easy to see the cooperative spirit & love between father & son. Neither blaming the other & both working together to correct the problem & get back to the original goal before the break downs. I like it a lot! God bless both.

Former New Holland welder here . We used to use a block of copper for a backing block for large gaps or thin material. Might not have helped for this but is a handy trick

I wish everyone would understand what farmers go through to feed us. Thank you for all you do. Please stay safe, and God bless.

This video brought back a good memory of my late husband. He found a torque wrench at a pawn shop for $20 (which was not his normal place to shop ... usually Rural King, etc!). I heard him say, more than once, "that's the best $20 I ever spent". So torque wrenches must be handy to have. Thanks Cole and Brian. God bless you and have a great week.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting.

First of all my compliments to Brian and Cole for hanging in there and getting the job done.
I know you have had a bad week with all the breakdowns and things broken.
You got some hay off of the ditches to help with the hay supply.

Cole nice job welding that skid plate on the mower. Seems to be holding just fine.

Glad you got done with the ditches and got that behind you.
I know this has been a hard week on both of you especially Brian. Hard to see your equipment damaged.

You both please kick back and take it easy and know you got the job done.

Like that sprayer you have in the back of the gator. Works good. You really got those grasshoppers knocked down.

About it I guess for now.
You gentlemen take it easy and relax from a hard week.
Take care of yourselves. You both are the
Thanks for everything.
The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.

Rare to see Brian looking dejected. I will pray he gets some quality time with the family. That always cheers him up ! God please bless Brian and his family and everyone they interact with, Amen.

Hey Cole you mentioned in your video that you would have to replace the whole cutter bar to fix that hole. That cutter bar will come apart at each individual module. There are 2 rods with each module that have nuts on each end. You take those bolts and nuts off to break the cutter bar down. Unfortunately I’ve had to do it several times.

Not returning a borrowed item is a huge pet peeve for me, I was brought up to return the item at least in a cleaner condition than when borrowed.
This reminds me of the film 'Out of Africa' where Berkeley Cole and Baroness Blixen were discussing a friend who had borrowed a book but didn't return it.
Cole said to Denys..."You wouldn't lose a friend for the sake of a book." Denys said, "No, but he has, hasn't he?"

Good out of bad. It is a great help that Cole is an expert welder. It is so heart warming to see father and son working closely when things go wrong and the ditches do really look good. And you got a decent amount of bales. You inspire and are a blessing to many of us. Good on you.

A grand idea for some merch. The pic of Pop's with the shirt wrapped round his heard on shirts. Sonne Farms on the front and Daddy's pic on the back. I would by enough for my entire family. :-)

You know it's way more fun to watch real people doing real life things than watching those Goofy actors in Hollywood, Cal-E-forny.
Thanks for all the videos ! 👍

I know things can happen with or without unusual conditions, but the added rocks and debris in the ditch surely gave it an added issue. The windows being broke is a shame and I seen a comment where a suggested wire mesh over the window, was given. I put an expanded metal one over the back of my open station, when my son had a PTO shaft fly off and hit the head liner of the canopy just an inch or two above his head. Good to see you getting those ditches done, at least no one was injured. Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a nice, safe weekend!👍

Cole on those cutters, the gear boxes come a part, it’s a real pain to do it but the gear box is like $500 but it has all new internals and the shell/shafts! I did that same thing about a week ago

True cattle folks. So much respect for what they do with cattle. For no more profit that is in it, they are true cattlemen who do a phenomenal job.

You showed how to be persistent and get the job done despite all the obstacles. That's what separates farmers from the rest of the population!
