I used this to download all of my facebook tagged photos. Got it working but ran into a few issues.

I would get a ' -a' is an invalied command. I think this was just becuase compared to the video when chrome opened on the Facebook page I had an 'allow cookie' prompt. I found out that I had to be ready to click on the allow cookies prompt that came up to quickly get past it.

Also I needed to change my pw to something that didn't have any special characters a it may use a different region keyboard language when inputting it from the script. Im UK.

Ocassionally it would get stuck on one photo so I manually had to click to the next then it would carry one.

Thank you. I was thinking of trying to put something together like this to help out my sister but looks like you have it covered! Is there any way to get photos from the albums on Facebook? I'm not sure if these show up in the "by" downloads. To me it seems like they are not based on a few observations of mine.

When I use “source” an error comes up saying “the term ‘source’ is not recognized…” I have windows and uploaded everything required so not sure why I’m having this problem.

Installed as per instructions and python script runs, but even though there is a "Photos of You' album on my profile page and the code launchs chrome logs into profile code returns the following outputs" :-
Opening Google Chrome browser
Going to Facebook
Going to profile page for me
Going to photos page for me
Opening "of" photo album
Loading first photo
User does not have "of" album
Similar result of the -a by option .

I noticed that it did not display the username and password being entered in Chrome it did display a notification that Chrome was being controlled by automated test software. I am running Chrome Version 109.0.5414.119 - freshly installed for this test . It appears the auto login is not working. Even running the script with a Chrome page open and logged in it still fails.
