LOST IN NYC

Critics who cited Home Alone 2 as “too derivative” clearly missed the point. I mean, I don’t blame them. They’re critics not kids. Having grown up with both films, I find each of them to be ICONIC staples of Christmastime Cinema, if that’s even a thing… Regardless, I love these movies. Manhattan, Winter, ‘92, is such a cool setting. To think when the film was made the aesthetic here was contemporary… Anyway, Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci give it their ALL with the irreplaceable slap-stick humour, providing ample laughs thirty-one years on. Gotta love Tim Curry as the Concierge too..!
