No way, I found this years so much harder than previous years. I’m used to getting 90% and I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten significantly less

Icl I think that you are completely exaggerating the ease of these papers. They might have been easier than initially papers like 2019/2020 but no way were they easier than last years. Grade boundaries should definitely not increase from last year and absolutely no way will they reach 90% for an a* like you said

I think you might slightly be exaggerating the ease of the paper, i think i got 87 snd 96 based on unofficial mark schemes online but the majority of people i know found a lot of questions too demanding for the time given. I personally thought the went well, but then again im a y12 further maths student so that might be why. On top of that i think 90% is a huge stretch to what the grade boundaries will end up being, the 2023 papers were much easier than this years papers in my view soi dont see an increase happening, and by consensus, most people dont see it happening.

Paper 2 is the hardest paper among these years.

I think above even 80% isnt really a good place to put the A* boundary. I'd prefer it go down but there is no WAY it can go up

i disagree, last years papers werent too much different to this years papers. This years papers i agree a lot of the questions were simple but the last 4 or so questions are hard hitting and very very long

i know a lot of people would lose marks because they didnt have time and they would also mess by the time they got to their final answer cos their isnt enough time to figure where they got a math error and do it all over again .

Last year 2023 papers were much easier than 2024 I dont get how grade boundaries would be same like last year

I thought paper 2 was really nice, there were definitely maybe 3 parts I couldn’t do, but it was a really nice paper for me and people at my college
