5 tire rotation. Thank you. I've met so many owners that have no clue about this. I only wish you had emphized this more. 👍

XJ, ZJ, JK & JT owner here. I've had zero rust or death wobble issues through the years. The biggest thing is having an underbody rise when I get back to the farm from the beach or salt marsh. I built it for the trailers. But it works great for vehicles. As for retorquing everything, absolutely. I even do this with my wife's new independent suspension suv.

I had a liitle bit of death woble at like 60 as a new driver very minor and got an alignment this was after me and my dad completely rebuilt the forunt end.

I checked all my suspension torques at 3000 miles after new. Both upper and lower ball joints were about 1/2 turn to loose from the factory. All other torqued were great.

Good advice. Experienced death wobble the first winter we owned our 2022 Wrangler. Hit a rough patch in the road and the steering wheel started shaking wildly. Took it to the dealer and they performed a procedure to get air out of the system. It didn’t improve until I replaced the all season stock tires with wider all terrain tires.

ALWAYS CHECK ALIGNMENT & BALANCE if you have steering issues, the shakes/death wobble, uneven tire wear, etc.

I bought a new 2021 JLUR now has 43kmiles, not offroaded (yet), diligent w tire pressures, no accidents, & still bone stock (as of right now 🙂). I have had serious steering wobble at highway speeds, 3 separate occurrences from 30k miles to now 43kmiles of falling out of alignment heavily (major front toe out), uneven tire wear on all 4, and as of this week two leaking rear shocks.

Too bad I love Wranglers (my 2nd now) but stay on top of Jeep with FCA quality control issues. Have THEM check everything if you have any problems.

I'd love to see a video on the death wobble. I've had two Jeeps that experienced the wobble.

Tip #6, stinger bumpers are lame --- Tip #7, please, for the love that is all holy...no angry grill.

Great tips. After every long road trip or any time offroad I like to recheck all suspension and steering bolts.

I'm really interested in buying a Jeep. But I don't really have any big mechanical experience. I can do basic stuff of course but sometimes it sounds like I'd be spending a lot of time on maintenance. I mostly would plan to Daily drive a Jeep and customize it to look cool with maybe the occasional ride through the creek or super easy trail. I currently have a 2019 Camry SE loaded with Sunroof etc with 37k miles. I just wanna make sure its not a mistake and that I could learn/do maintenance needed before trading in etc. If anyone can help with some outlook/perspective. As far as maintenance on my Camry I have had the oil changed, basic maintenance, and tires rotated every 3 months for the last 5 years at the dealership. So if the Jeep would be similar to maintain then not a huge difference. I also love to learn and wouldn't mind learning how to work on a Jeep etc. Thanks in advance.

Idk if it was an accident. But on the 2.0. The black bottle at the rear of the engine bay is your coolant bottle. The small clear bottle in front of your washer fluid id ONLY for the water to air intercooler

I think that it would be a cool video if you guys installed an angry grill on one of the Wrangler. Even if you didn't keep it on for long. Someone will find that video informative and it'd be great for the YT algorithm.

Rust. All the Jeeps I've owned have some with some surface rust on the joins around the wheels/rods. On my latest Jeep, I cleaned, used rust converter, and then painted over.

Do you think I still need to put Fluid Film on or will keeping it clean and painted is enough?

I have been dealing with the death wobble!!!
A death wobble video would be great since my 2021 Jeep jL 392 has been in and out of the dealership with no positive results!!
Warranty ends this month so I guess it’s up to me to find the true problem.
I live only a couple of hours away from you in West Virginia northern area and would love to have you find and fix it on a video or not .

what is the 5 tire rotation? Sorry, first time Jeep owner here. Does the spare get included when I rotate my tires?
