Lee Anderton (The Captain) Invited me to visit him at the @andertons studio for a tour of the shop and a chat about EastCoast Guitars.

I bought my first Gibson Les Paul from Andertons in around 2003, my second and third from them too. 20 years later I just bought another Les Paul (my tenth) and a Sire from them. Fantastic shop.

I’ve been watching the Anderson’s videos since before they had their own YouTube channel and everything was on Rob Chapman’s channel so it’s great to see a slightly different side of Lee. We’re all very familiar with Lee the engaging and entertaining presenter and talented player but here we got to hear a bit more from the passionate owner of a family business and get a peek behind the curtain (or behind the by appointment only doors in this case 😂) of what goes into running a wildly successful retail business.

Can’t wait for the additional parts to come out! Really great stuff Andy!

Really superb video. Physical shops are massively important as well as on line too. As an electric violinist trying out effects etc is crucial as they don't always work like they would with guitars. Great shop and magic channel.

Really cool to see. I’ve been watching Lee for years on YouTube but always wondered what Andertons really looks like to a customer… cool looking. I live in Ireland so will probably never get to see it in person.

I’m unsure exactly how long-ago it was, but you posted a video in which you opened-up and shared that you were a bit burned-out & uninspired making videos at the time.

I knew exactly how you felt & I’m really glad you steered-out of that skid and continued to press-on. Your content over the past several-months has been some of your best & even my long-suffering girlfriend enjoys your videos.
