I'm not sure why anyone criticized this video. Dude just solved so many newbies issues here. Hell, I had no idea that there was an adapter to solve the cropping lower end merch. Will it fix the eos r cropping during video? Bought to find out.

This is the perfect resource for beginners. I don't mind the affiliate links. All this knowledge you dropping has got to be worth something.

Hi, I'd like to point out that although speed boosters do give a stop of light, they don't give you blurrier (if that word exists) backgrounds. On the contrary, they reduce the image projected by the lens thus increasing the light intensity (hence the stop gained) but at the same time, by making the image smaller, the depth if field increases. Yes, it's a little bit confusing, but a FF 35mm lens on an APS camera with a booster will look like a 35mm lens on a FF, but with the depth of fiels of a 22mm lens. Remember, APS sensors don't change any attributes of the image the lens project, nor light intensity or depth of field, they just capture less of the image. On the other hand, boosters do change the image, reducing its size and increasing its light intensity and depth of field.

So happy I clicked on this video, I’m about to buy the EOS R6, and didn’t want to spend the extra cash on the adapter with the NDF. Thanks so much for the info!

Nice vid. I use the Viltrox on my M50. Only complaint is that it drains the battery. There are also some other issues with it that’s not covered in the video. Having said that, works great with the 50mm, and that extra stop of light made it worth the money.

Bro you’ve just given some amazing freaking advice right here. Had no idea that Viltrox was making adapters for less than 50% of the price of Canon adapters. I was hesitant on getting the r10 cause we have less choice in the canon lens ecosystem but now I might rethink that. Thanks brah!

Great info. I am newer to the world of full frame and crop sensor. Your explanation and example in the video was very helpful.

Hi Fulaan, appreciate your efforts and like your channel. I have just a few comments to share:
1 - Cinestyle is not a real "C-Log" it's just a tricky Neutral profile that can, for free, guarantee good results at the price of noise and it works only at steps of ISO 160. I tested and tbh I don't really like it, but I am not a colorist nor a professional and the color grading is absolutely subjective.
2 - I found a good combination with the Neutral profile and looks pretty good, just need to add a bit of contrast and saturation in post and it is ready to go.
3 - For night scenes I think HDR-PQ is better than other flatty profile
Happy to discuss with you anytime it would pleasure and honor for me.

To the point and much appreciated as I've been looking to replace my lost Canon DSLR with one of the new mirrorless options! Hope to pick up some of these in the near future

As far as I’m concerned, the speed booster gives you an extra stop of light, but doesn’t affect the depth of field. The background will stay exactly the same.

Great vid. If only the 1.5 crop actually zoomed in 1.5. The speed booster is the real deal.

For all the adapters you recommend does the auto focus still work just as fast?

I really agreed with you brother. Its only the matter of you must know what you want, and what gear you really need. Dont spent to much, use what is reasonable and reliable.

I just found this on my recomendations, so happy I clicked on this because I've thought about pre ordering the new camera. I'm currently using a t6i as it was my first camera a couple of years ago. But I think it's time to upgrade because I like to shoot sports, food, and landscape.
