This is my plan is to do the digital and also put the design on POD items. I did just open a POD store with shirts and in 2 weeks have had 7 sales. But I really want to do the digital/POD hybrid next

I am going to be starting an Etsy shop and I have a YouTube channel and I mainly create gnomes . I have looked on Etsy I have used Everbee and have seen that making just gnomes is not very profitable. What I would like to do is make gnomes try to personalize them with like my embroidery machine with names and such. Also I have seen the travel jewelry boxes that you had on a video you did a while back that made huge amount of money. I have purchased some of those travel jewelry boxes. I have personalized and sold five within the last four days. My question is could I do a general store where I am selling stuff that I personalize. I'm kind of stuck with deciding what to sell in my Etsy shop because I know that just selling the gnomes is not going to be enough of an income for me to be able to quit my job. So I have seen the jewelry boxes I have purchased some and I have on order more. I am trying to personalize them a little different. I am still going to add the name and probably do a flower I have one lady that wants the word blessed on it and I have like these butterfly charms that I'm going to add. But my question is if I do a general storecan that hurt me because I just don't see making gnomes is going to make me the money that I want to be able to quit my job. So I'm kind of torn between I'm not even torn I don't want to do just gnomes. I want to start a general store I don't want to do print on demand or digital. So I'm really stuck about this general store. For me my gnomes at craft fairs sell best in the fall. So I thought if I had a general store that I would be able to offer other gifts then gnomes. I have an embroidery machine where I am able to personalize items. I have a cricut machine so I'm able to personalize stuff that way. So Scott I want your advice on what you think of me opening a general store. My YouTube channel is Nancy's cottage designs and I have that as my Etsy shop name and I cannot change it again cuz I have changed it too many times so it's going to have to stay that. I just keep getting stuck on if I'm doing the right thing on opening a general store and I'm probably just going to do it and try it and see what happens please please let me know what you think

How would you decide between doing POD on Shopify versus Etsy? Or at what point to do both possibly? They say that on Shopify you don’t have as much competition and wandering eyes because it is only your products that you have funneled people to.
