I've recently finished reading "So late in the Day" and it was great. I admire Keegan's writing and how deep her words are! I've started with "Foster" and this is my second lecture of her. She's such an incredible writer.

How serendipitous! I just finished listening to the audiobook yesterday.

It never ceases to amaze me how Claire Keegan can pack a such a punch in such tiny books.

So a book about men being the problem in relationships. Sounds enticing and nuanced.

Cathal is, in many ways I think, a representation of how pernicious male privilege is. He is extreme in his obliviousness, but as a man I found reading this to be incredibly uncomfortable in the best sense.
