It's probably down to everyones obsession with the new and shiny. Nobody settles with "good enough" it always has to be BETTER. But this is picture pretty good in my opinion, especially considering what it was taken with. This pic is an example of perfect conditions since I remember being SOOOOO close to this butterfly and being surprised it didn't fly away.
