Fun Fact. Luffy hugs Zoro the same way in Wano after not seeing him for a while (Approximately 2 years for the viewers) it's Oda, saying Luffy considers Zoro to be his big brother in a way too.

This scene has always been one of my favorite, not only due to the reunion but the weight behind it. During the Marineford, the fans weren't aware about the fact that Ace's death did not only meant Luffy lost a brother, but also lost the only brother he thought he had left. Dadan freaking out at Garp had more depth to it when you realized that she knows how heart broken and helpless Luffy was when Sabo "died" and now Ace dying when Garp could've saved him. Now Luffy realizing that he still has a brother, felt so good but was also somewhat heartbreaking at the first thing that he could say to Sabo was he let Ace die. Both Sabo and Luffy blames themselves from someone that was beyond their control, and the fact that Ace passes away without the knowledge of Sabo being alive is even so heartbreaking and how the only way Sabo could regained the memory he lost was by losing one of the two most important thing in his life and that is Ace. ❤ Oda's writing never fails to amaze me.❤
