What he's arguing is selflessness vs selfishness, joy vs pleasure. But that's part of (if not born of) the judeo-christian path.

For once I would love to hear the argument of "self" existing after your death, as people were born throughout your whole life and all experience being "me" and "you", so in a sense, "I" doesnt die, but the physical "me" does, meaning I always exist and experience new lives each time around. Seems like nobody considers that when it comes to life after your physical form.

Mr. Shapiro with all due respect. Religion is man trying to reach God & Christianity is man having a relationship with Jesus Christ!!! Christ is my Savior and He has set up a place for each and everyone of those who believe and have faith in His deveined promise to give us eternal life with the soul that we all poses and that is precious to Him and God our Creator...

If you erroneously believe in God, you lose nothing (assuming that death is the absolute end), whereas if you correctly believe in God, you gain everything (eternal bliss). But if you correctly disbelieve in God, you gain nothing (death ends all), whereas if you erroneously disbelieve in God, you lose everything (eternal damnation).

To all, having known 2 people that have clinically died, gone for 10 minutes minimum, seen parts of paradise/ heaven, and departed relative's, you don't fake that,
The many thousands of documented experiences known today of this cannot be ignored.
NDE I'd real, children, elderly all ages, this cannot be rationalized away or denied.
A conscious existence beyond this natural world exists.
