If u want to beat the hobo, remember that he ALMOST ALWAYS (90% of the time) attacks when you touch him. Its a script in the ai. There's a delay, but he always attacks at the same interval when u touch him. Whether its a heavy or light depends, but its almost always a light attack. If you dodge a light, and didn't perfect dodge, move back. If you dodged a heavy, and didn't perfect dodge, shield immediately, and wait for him to throw his next heavy.

There a glitch in the game where you can beat father brungus by using shotgun (if your reading this hope it helps) what you want to do is when your fighting father brungus use shotgun and he use iron fist once the match begins dash in then stop and if he get close to you hit the shotgun barrage then heavy and it should break the character *hopes this helps*

The last boss is insane, idk if they fixed it, but he is the only one who's not doing dash forward, which makes it really hard, the only way to beat him, is doing perfect dodges

Me personally, I feel like the event is a terrible/really bad first impression for the game. The bots aren't terrible but do need work, since most of the PD windows are (respectfully & reasonably) really wonky to do. The boss also has a ton of m1 damage, and I've seen veterans with 5k+ knocks struggle on them. However, PvE is very new and some issues simply cannot be fixed and I'm really liking the idea of a story mode being implemented because of this.

Fellas, the best style to fight against the Champion is Kimura style. Always feint to start your m1 combo and end with m2. Since he keeps falling for your feints, the slowness will continue to stack until he is unable to catch up to you due to slowness, then it becomes easier to land hits on him.

update: the back dash no longer works against the bot since he just doesnt front dash at all. he just walks up to you.. so basically this games event went to crap, since he has iron fist but plays like a hawk user.. so you can no longer really start your own attacks, and no longer use the back dash trick. personally im giving up but gl to yall who r still trying

imma be honest Jwordz, the last boss kinda did dodge m2 in a m1 chain most of the time, so if you keep that in mid then yeah its all good

I’ve figured out how to beat the final boss, use shotgun, walk up to him and use barrage right away. He won’t attack you and will just walk to you, free win without even being hit once

When I fought the final boss, I used an Iron Fist, and I saw that if I hit a point where the defense was close to breaking, I punched with the M2 until it broke. After that, the boss would stay still long enough for the stamina to return. Full before repeating, and if anyone is afraid of the boss falling off the stage before punching, walk around him for a bit and then punch, that's fine as well. Just be calm and take a good look at the boss's armor.(I use a translator, it might seem strange.)

I got clapped by bringus like 5 times before I found out his dash weakness. Also hammer is really good with him

after the fix it doesn't work, the last boss just spams dash back when I try to chees him, and when my hits hit him it doesn't do any damage, now I can't even move him to the second phase, and before the fix I could easily get to the third 😭, why is he so unfair now, he has more hp, more stamina, faster hits, his m2 takes off a quarter of my health bar in one hit

Some cases, on the final boss, the hobo literally sometime phases through an M1 attack but I made up for it by feinting all the time, but these heavy attacks are more powerful than a slugger m2 counter fr

The homeless boss does crazy damage. 3 m1 hits my block breaks and m1 does crazy damage

you can easily cheese final boss by blocking, he always tries to break your block with a m2 when its low and its very easy to perfect dodge as he never feints his m2 if your block is low
