Piston engine wear and reliability are well understood if you know what to look for. Engine wear, engine health, and reliability are interrelated. Aircraft engines wear with both use and inactivity. Inactivity actually accelerates wear due to corrosion. This presentation discusses methods to determine engine health and ways to prevent the effects of engine inactivity and corrosion. Absolutely superb video! We are an autonomous vehicle manufacturer and are purchasing our first manned aircraft. I subscribed to your channel after watching your excellent video on the base to final cross control stall. I can hardly wait to watch the rest of your content after watching this presentation! This corresponds to bits and pieces of information my two A&P friend's have told me, but its the most complete and thorough engine maintenance protocol explanation I have ever heard. I also appreciate that it is in a format I can listen to repeatedly, skip around or speedup playback on.
There is so much information here that I'm sure to be a repeated viewer :-D Best regards, Christian @ Peregrinus Solutions

I like your presentations, and please don't mistake this for criticism of the content, however... I feel like the format is too lengthy. The introductions are too drawn out, and the pace is somewhat slow. At the rate is moves, it is sometimes hard to sit through when you are waiting for the things you don't know to appear among the things you already know. I'm not sure what the 'bathroom' thing is about. If I need that, I just pause the video. It's the same when I pick up a book. If it doesn't get to the point in a reasonable amount of time, or I feel it could be condensed and still provide the same information, I unfortunately put it aside. I hope you don't mind my comments.
