I swear haters will find every small detail about anyone to hate/cancel them I honestly feel bad for Lisa. Imagine flying all alone to a complete different country with a different culture, different language, different people and you train in that environment for 5 years. You made your debut and you thought everything is yet to come and then suddenly you’re getting bashed for being Thai, being Thai! When are people gonna accept that as Kpop’s growing, different people from different countries are gonna audition to become the next Kpop singer. You just gotta expect people with different ethnicity to join Kpop. But you know according to some people on online Kpop is only for Korean because it’s apparently Kpop not International pop. Which I disagree with because Kpop is made of Hip Hop, jazz, and in some cases Rock. And all those genres were not created by Korean people! Hip Hop was created by DJ Kool Herc, who happens to be a black person. Jazz was created by African Americans, and rock also happens to be created by Chuck Berry, and you guessed it he was a black person. If Kpop is gonna adapt a music style in their culture might as well let everyone go because at the end of the day Kpop took ALL of it’s inspiration (except for maybe choreographies) from Black Culture. So, it’s not fair that people hate on none Korean/Asian idols because Kpop is just a music in Korean. It’s not a different style of music or anything of that sort. I don’t understand why does one think that Kpop is ONLY for Korean people or eastern Asian people. Y’all say Only Asians can join Kpop yet when a Non Korean, Asia DOES join Kpop y’all toss your hands on them. Please stop hating on Lisa from being Thai, she does not deserve it, she already has a ton to deal with and on top of all of that she has to deal with hate. It's not culture appropiation, it is a headwear that is used for urban dance. It has an origin but has been taken to the more western side and is used a lot in dances and choreographies for modern dance galas.I've used it, those are called "durag" and there is nothing wrong with using it even if it originates from black people.
