The phenomenal Jeff Beck! The guitarist who truly was on his on path; a path that no other guitarist could even dream of following. So much of himself was part of every note he played. He had a mystical blend of technical prowess and soul in his playing. Jeff never played a song the same way twice as is evident here listening to him crank out “Danny Boy” over and over. Jeff Beck has been referred to as the “guitarist’s guitarist”, the “Guv’nor”, the “greatest living guitarist”, the “greatest guitarist” etc, but none of those terms completely embody what the instrument was to him. We all should feel so lucky to be on earth the same time as Jeff. RIP Jeff Beck
