Merlin has an older stroy. He was a warrior, but saw so much blood shed. That he went into the forest in shame. Which they called him mad merlin. As he could talk to animals and and could do predictions . People went to see him for help. . He all so meet up with Tristan the bard and nimue the lady of the lake. Like a marvel, dc comic team up. It was nimue who would be downfall of merlin. Not Morgana. That came later on in the the myths and legends of merlin. Other people have said that a merlin was a title for highest druids. The Theory is that merlin would been seen at different locations hundreds miles away. Given him (and others) the power of transporting themselves over long distances. But, hay, who really knows. The two dragons that were fighting are famous, the red one is called Ddraig he represents the welsh flag which gave him the nickname welsh dragon, and the white one is called Albion who is the rival of Ddraig.
