This is an excellent explanation of not only Exodus 3:14 but Rev 1:8.

One Hebrew tech question I have is how we get a Vah from Yah to form the final syllable.

Using the highlighted letters (very helpful by the way) we get

Yod with a Shvah
Hey with a cholem
Yod with a Kamaz

How do we get a Vav from the final Yod?

Nehemiah when our Father and I had a convo about what and how I should use the Names, He showed me His Name was Yehua and His Son was Yeshua. The only difference is the shin. I guess YOU know what that means. 💕🤗

Close your eyes and softly call out those two names, Yahweh and then Yehovah/Jehovah. The name Jehovah sounds Mightier. 100%!!

Are the Alpha and Omega in Revelation Chapter 1 and Chapter 22 the same person?

Yes.

But Jesus was not speaking in Revelation 1:8.

Please consider this.

Revelation 1:4-6 (KJV):
4 “John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from HIM WHICH IS, and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME; and from the seven Spirits which are before HIS throne; 5 AND FROM Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

In Revelation 1:4-6, the apostle John clearly distinguishes between “HIM WHICH IS, and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME, " the seven spirits before HIS throne (the Father's throne), and Jesus Christ.

These verses show us that “HIM which is, and which was, and which is to come” and Jesus are not the same person. As a matter of fact, in verse 6, Jesus is to make his faithful followers “kings and priests unto God and his Father.” Also, the seven spirits are before the throne of “HIM which is, and which was, and which is to come” and not Jesus. Verse 7 is linked to verses 5 & 6 about Jesus, in which John made a clear distinction between him and from HIM WHICH IS, and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME, which is Jesus' Father and God.

In verse 7 of chapter 1, John then ends by saying, "Amen." (Amen is used in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim practices as a concluding word, or as a response to a prayer - Harper, Douglas. "amen." Online Etymology Dictionary. Retrieved 20 August 2007). Now, someone totally new begins to speak.

Notice Revelation 1:8:

8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, WHICH IS, and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME, " the Almighty.”

Here in this verse, we see the Alpha and Omega, who is the One “which is, and which was, and which is to come.” In the earlier verses, John clearly distinguished between “HIM which is, and which was, and which is to come, ” which the seven spirits are before His throne with Jesus Christ. This shows us “HIM which is, and which was, and which is to come, ” who is the Alpha and Omega is clearly different from Jesus Christ.

In verses 9-16, the apostle John resumes speaking. Then Jesus began speaking in verses 17-20.

Revelation 1:18 and 2:8 show that Jesus died. Jesus said he died in those verses. Other scriptures in the NT show that the Father and God of Jesus resurrected him from the dead. The Alpha and Omega cannot die.

Habakkuk 1:12

Christian Standard Bible
"Are you not from eternity, LORD [YHVH] my God? My Holy One, you will not die..."

Holman Christian Standard Bible
"Are You not from eternity, Yahweh my God? My Holy One, You will not die..."

NET Bible
"LORD [YHVH], you have been active from ancient times; my sovereign God, you are immortal..."

Another thing to keep in mind. One Hebrew scholar, who is also a Jew, said the Divine Name Yehovah/Jehovah combines three forms of the verb "to be." Hayah—He who was, Hoveh—He who is, Yihyeh—He Who Will Be or He is to Come. This lines up with Revelation 1:8.

Are there any other verses in the Book of Revelation that show this distinction?

Let’s look at Revelation chapter 4. This whole chapter is almost just about the One on the Throne.

Revelation 4:2, 3
“And immediately I [John] was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”

Revelation 4:5
“And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.”

Revelation 4:8
"And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, WHICH WAS, and IS, and IS TO COME.”

Notice how Revelation chapter 4 parallels Revelation 1:4-6, 8. Revelation chapter 4 tells us of the One on the throne. We read of the seven spirits before the throne. Also, the One on the Throne is identified as “Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation 4:10, 11 tells us of the 24 elders who fall and worship the One on the throne who lives forever. They say this One created all things. Revelation 11:17 says, “Lord God Almighty, who is and who was”… “taken Your great power and have begun to reign.” This is the same person in Revelation 1:8 and Revelation 4:8.

Is this Jesus Christ? Or is this someone else? Let’s look at Revelation chapter 5 to know for absolute certainty.

Revelation 5:1, 2
“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?”

Once again, we have the One on the throne, but he holds a Book most are not worthy to open.

Revelation 5:5
“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”

Who is the Lion of Judah, the Root of David, the Lamb? We know it is Jesus the Christ. Jesus had to go before the One seated on the throne, which the earlier verses show us is the Alpha and Omega.

Revelation 5:7-10 (Weymouth New Testament):

“So He [Jesus] comes, and now He has taken the book out of the right hand of Him who is seated on the throne. 8 And when He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four Elders fell down before the Lamb, having each of them a harp and bringing golden bowls full of incense, which represent the prayers of God's people.
9 And now they sing a new song. "It is fitting, " they say, "that Thou shouldst be the One to take the book And break its seals; Because Thou hast been offered in sacrifice, And hast purchased [reedeemed] for God with Thine own blood Some out of every tribe and language and people and nation, 10 And hast formed them into a Kingdom to be priests to our God, And they reign over the earth.”

Here, we see Jesus the Lamb, purchased or redeemed to his God by his blood: "Some out of every tribe and language and people and nation.” Revelation 5:10 says these individuals will be a Kingdom to be priests to God. We know Jesus himself is designated High Priest by God. (Hebrews 5:10)

These verses show there is a clear difference between Jesus, the Lamb, and the One “which was, and is, and is to come, ” who sits on the throne and is the Alpha and Omega (God Almighty).

There’s only one Alpha and Omega, and it is not Jesus Christ per the Holy Scriptures.

Revelation 11:15 (ESV): Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord [YHVH] and of his Christ [Jesus], AND he [YHVH] shall reign forever and ever.”

Jesus also says in his own words that he has a God and Father. Jesus makes these statements after his resurrection and ascension to heaven.

Revelation 3:12
"Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name." (Reference John 20:17)

Revelation 2:26, 27
“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.” (Reference Daniel 7:13-14, 27; Luke 22:28-30)

In Revelation 19:1-6 those in heaven praise God Almighty, the One seated on the throne. They praise their God, Jah/Yah or Jehovah/Yehovah. Hallelujah!

Jesus Christ is not the Alpha and Omega.

In reality, there is confusion of languages, Hebrew is not Greek, likewise some Hebrew words do not know how to translate it exactly to give the same expression of the word in Greek, it is also the same from Greek to Hebrew, likewise from the Armenian language at the time, there is no letter J or the letter V it is invented by ancient Latin and modern Latin to facilitate pronunciation despite the confusion of languages, we always manage to find the word what is needed but is no longer the same word of authenticity, in reality, the DIVINE NAME is written in the Hebrew language of ancient Hebrew on these books of the Old Testament, the DIVINE NAME is described in the Tables of the TEN COMMANDMENTS like this: יהוה which is translated exactly YHWH from the old translation, but, once again we have made letters like the letter J to replace the Y and the letter V to replace the letter W this gives JHVH and we end up fabricating a false word Jehovah, claiming that it is the name of God? Apart from this it is a lie, is not his true PROPER NAME according to the authenticity of the Hebrew word which is translated exactly and which is said "YAHWEH" is his true PROPER NAME of GOD the FATHER, let us not forget that his Only Son of GOD the FATHER is called "Yahosha" which comes from the same family of GOD the FATHER which is "YAHO" which means GOD "as believers have the family name ending with "yaho" as the Jewish President is called Benjamin Netanyahu or yahu, or yaho? And some prophets of the Bible their name ends with yaho or yahou, this prophet was chosen by GOD the FATHER "YAHOWEH"
According to the different language versions, the Lord finally called Jesus Christ, in ancient times in the time of Latin his name of the Messiah is called iésous we invented the J to create Jesus by removing the O like the Jews did it to remove the O as being for the Jews a dead letter, that is why they called their GOD the FATHER "YAHWEH" by removing the O.
Except that the true proper NAME of Jesus Christ is in reality "Yahosha" is the same NAME of his GOD the FATHER "YAHOWEH" that making it the same family of the GOD the FATHER "YAHOWEH" or "YAHWEH".
Well from there there are always ways to quibble and to fabricate false NAMES which no longer have authenticity according to their language of the time.
The serious problem with all these religions does not want to admit the true PROPER NAME OF THE GOD THE FATHER "YAHWEH" because it is Hebrew and it is the GOD of the Jewish People! But no longer is also the GOD of foreigners, pagans and sheep and gentiles, non-Jews as the Bible uses as expressions.
It is clearly stated that one cannot take the DIVINE NAME described in the Tables of the TEN COMMANDMENTS the PROPER NAME OF GOD THE FATHER " יהוה = YHWH = YAHOWEH " becoming YAHWEH.
That is all this is THE TRUTH.
Let no one erase this message of THE TRUTH, he who erases this message will be BOUND to be JUDGED at the Tribunal of Christ, according to Matthew 16: 19 and 18: 18.
Excuse the spelling mistakes Thank you.
HALLELUYAH AMEN.

“The Alpha and the Omega” refers to Jehovah God, the Almighty. This term occurs three times in the Bible.—Revelation 1:8; 21:6; 22:13.
Jehovah alone is the beginning and the end. (Revelation 21:6) He was Almighty God in the infinite past, and he will continue to be Almighty God forever. He is the only one who is “from everlasting to everlasting.”—Psalm 90:2.
THE FIRST AND THE LAST:
The Bible applies this term both to Jehovah God and to his Son, Jesus, but with different meanings. Consider two examples.
At Isaiah 44:6, Jehovah says: “I am the first and I am the last. There is no God but me.” Here Jehovah highlights that he is the everlasting true God; besides him, there is no other. (Deuteronomy 4:35, 39) In this case, then, the expression “the first and the last” has the same meaning as “the Alpha and the Omega.”
Additionally, the term “the First [pro’tos, not alpha] and the Last [e’skha·tos, not omega]” occurs at Revelation 1:17, 18 and 2:8. In these verses, the context shows that the one referred to died and later returned to life. Thus, these verses cannot refer to God because he has never died. (Habakkuk 1:12) However, Jesus died and was resurrected. (Acts 3:13-15) He was the first human to be resurrected to immortal spirit life in heaven, where he now lives “forever and ever.” (Revelation 1:18; Colossians 1:18) Jesus is the one who performs all resurrections thereafter. (John 6:40, 44) Therefore, he was the last one to be resurrected directly by Jehovah. (Acts 10:40) In this sense, Jesus can properly be called “the First and the Last.”

God is a title, not a name. There is a God of the gods and a Lord of the lords, there are as many gods and lords as there is men , since Man is in the Image of God, and in the likeness of God. So , as a title, every man was intended to persue God and become God, in some final judgement about the existence of humanity. The idea of I Am seems like a self declaratory statement about being conscious and sentient, to know you are alive, that is a behavior like God. Self Aware. But Moses Law required all Israel to serve the Lord their God, even if all men are like gods or there are many gods. This would mean Jesus as Messiah was intended to be worshiped as God, just as in Exodus 7:1 God says to Moses, "See now Moses , I YHVH have made you to be YHVH to Pharaoh and Aaron is your Prophet". It seems the point is about who or what is the Authority or Law Giver, among an organized people seeking to establish a State . Moses was effectively God, in Title, while to beg the question of just what is God, there is no form or matter, God is not an organism or legal matter, God is some sort of efficiency. If you have to climb the mountain, and you discover strength within you to succeed to reach the summit, then you say God was with you, and while God was with you, you carried TITLE of God since you were the only person to succeed , beyond the idea of it or the quest of it all. Truly, if Jesus rose from the dead, He is God.
