You’re the only one who has mentioned Shift + L. I wondered why my curves had kinks in them! Thank you so much.

All i wanted to know was the shift + l command, which in photoshop is alt + click. I've watched so many tutorials and they didn't show it. Its such a simple thing but so important when drawing shapes with the pen/bezier tool. Thanks

Shift + L.... Omg I never knew this, and infact that is why I wasn't getting the shapes right, cuz of that extended line... Came looking for bezier pen tutorials and found this one.... Thanks a lot💕I got what I needed♥

At the end i found a suitable tut to learn how to draw an heart with Inkscape Bezier Curves.
Thank you very much Laurie.
PS Not only it's a great tut for drawing this specific shape BUT it's the BEST tut I ever found about learning how to use Inkscape Bezier Tool.

I knew how to break the handles for a cusp mid-drag (with shift), and how to go from straight to a free handle (holding down shift before dragging the handle out), but didn't know the shift-L thing to go from a handle to a straight. But now I know. I'll have to give it a shot. Thanks for that.

For some reason this little detail doesn't seem to be in the wiki section for the Bezier tool.

Now I'm wondering if there's another modifier key(s) to lock the handle extension in-line with the adjacent section? (Going in or out?) For a smooth tangent extension to or from the next segment?

thanks! finally i found it (shift + L). *Did someone know how to change the shortcut?* It's not natural for me to press the right shift and L with my left hand (bcs my right hand are handling the mouse, and the left shift is pretty far from L)
