This is Part 1 of Session 5 in Getting Started with iMachining Professor - an extensive tutorial series to provide you knowledge and practice with iMachining. The geometry in iMachining is defined as a pocket that can be open, closed and/or semi-closed (containing open edges). The pockets can contain internal chains treated as islands or used for safe tool entry. In this video, we will define many examples of closed pocket geometries. These include a simple closed pocket as well as closed pocket geometries with island(s), entry hole(s), and with island(s) and entry hole(s).
