I would recommend crafting the blade of grass. I made it before fighting any boss and it carried me to hardmode

Neat little thing about the slime god that I found out during a ranger play through is that that their AI is completely ruined in the water meaning a water walking potion and a few rows of platforms serves as a great arena for those bouncy things!

Another Useful item to use against the Wall of Flesh is the Fractured Ark
It's parrying ability will do enormous damage and it can Pierce, sadly it's mostly close range melee

i need the list of everything, i like simple videos that show what weapns, armour, accesories and buffs you need in pictures. i am not a fan ofvideos like these, but its better for for a lot of people, i am a begginner to calamity, but i prefer short and simple.
