Puracy Clean Can Issues SHOULD BE RECALLED #laundrydetergent #recall

The Puracy Clean Can has a big problem. If you have it at home, I suggest you throw it out!

An insider let me know that the recipe of the laundry detergent was too strong for the packaging and created this disgusting and stinky brown sludge. This is a good example of what happens when a product is rushed to market.

I first noticed it when testing Puracy's laundry detergent. There were a few brown flakes and then I noticed the smell.

Sadly, this product was never recalled. I reached out to Puracy twice and there was no response.

It’s funny when that company first started. I believe they had like body wash at target and there was a mail in rebate to make it free. It was rather expensive like 1215 bucks for some body wash. They never sent me a mail rebate back after submitting it. My father got his rebate and we mailed them both the same day two different households. I contacted the company in regards to the rebate. They ghosted me never heard from them. it was super lame. Never bought product again.

That is so disappointing as I have chosen to buy Puracy products many times before though I have never seen your ad. They market themselves very well, as a good and honest brand, so this is a big shame.

aluminum cant handle extremes in pH so acidic colas had to develop plastic liners, so...lots of microlastics!

That is really disappointing. I love their bath soap, and was excited about this product. I have been checking back periodically on it and was wondering what was taking so long getting it back, but their website has been removing pages on this. Anyhow. I really appreciate the update and transparency. That would have been a good look for Puracy had they done it. Oh well.

I work for a company that does the exact testing that would prevent this issue from going to market. Pretty affordable too tbh. Big big miss on their part. You can’t just throw things into new types of packaging.

Companies realized people in the 2010’s loved small startup businesses with quirky products. It made it feel more personal and less professional. But that had created an epidemic of less savory and straight up lying companies and brands to start targeting that niche, especially companies aiming to just make a cheaply made product and run off with as much money as they can before customers realized they were scammed. Another company that is just like this is ‘Magic Spoon’.

Companies like these promise “quirky and against the grain” products but deliver products that are poorly made, barely tested, and with silently aggressive methods. Before buying a product that uses this method of scummy service, it’s advise to call the company (see if they’re willing to pick up your calls), see if there’s any reviews for it online (it’s also suspicious if products have absolutely zero bad reviews, every good product will have one or two bad ones), and do your own research (see when the company was founded, if it’s attached to other companies or worked with other companies in the past).

It also helps to see a company’s social media page if it’s existent and see how authentic the interactions are with their page.
